TobyMac is awesome.. Black eagle arena not my favorite place
TobyMac is an awesome artist. One of the best of my lifetime. However this is the second event I have attended at the eagle arena with the first one being a speaker. This arena has some acoustic issues, I do not believe it has much to do with the technology but more so to do with the layout and ability to truly enjoy who's on stage.
1. For one, the seating is extremely too high and steep. This creates a dizzy sensation.
2. Second is there was no support from police or department of transportation to help with directing traffic for the event, thus creating a 30 minute delay due to the traffic lights.
3. I was disappointed since Ticketmaster had charged a $40 fee on top of the price of my tickets. This was a shock and I have never purchased through Ticketmaster in the past and usually go direct but for future I will never jump onto the ticketmaster as a first choice.
4. Lastly, the acoustics from the stage created an echo and I believe it's due to the architect and not the electronics. I believe the stadium is a little older and outdated. I'm much rather would have attended the concert outdoors, if I was unfamiliar with the artist I would have not understood a word that came out of that microphone. I spent much time reading lips on the big screen.
